Recently I re-opened my Amazon Prime account, and in the last few days I’ve spent WAY more than I probably should have on stuff on Amazon. One of the things I’m trying to do though, is get my office more organized, and to that end, my husband suggested I order myself a Brother P-Touch Label Maker – he uses one for his work and likes […]
Over the next few weeks, I’ve decided to do a series of posts where I’ll be asking questions to get to know you, my readers, a little bit better so I can write posts that you’ll relate to a little better. I’ll be posting these as interviews on MyBlogU – here are the responses I got for the first three questions I asked:
It’s that time of year again – the new year is just around the corner, so it’s time to start thinking about what you want to accomplish, both personally and professionally, in 2016. For this post, I asked people to share their business goals for 2016. Here are the responses I got:
If you work in front of your computer a lot, eye strain can be a problem. Luckily, there’s a way that you can reduce eye strain when you’re working at your computer – use a high contrast background on your computer, as well as on any other electronic devices you use regularly. Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a great week. I’m sorry to say I didn’t have any eBook sales this week, but I didn’t expect to. I am happy to say though that I made a lot of progress on the eBook I wrote for my Upwork client. I submitted it this morning and I’m hoping to get more work from him soon. If […]
If you’re like me, you probably use to do lists a lot to keep your life organized. Well a while back, I found a great website that can not only be used for to-do lists, but also for outlines for blog posts and book chapters, among other things. It basically takes to-do lists to a whole new level. It’s called Workflowy, and I had used […]
In this post I wanted to talk about a new site I found that’s great for people who experience writer’s block or who want to find ways to focus more on the writing and spend less time editing. It’s called Ilys, and I found out about it through Amy Lynn Andrews’ website.
I recently read a book by Annie Clayton called “Brilliant, but not Bullied: Workplace Bullying Unveiled: Take Back Control of Your Career.” While I personally have not dealt with workplace bullying, I thought it provided some great information, and that a lot of it could be useful for people who work from home that have dealt with bullying from other co-workers or supervisors. In this post […]
Good morning! I’m sorry to say I did not make much progress on my two eBooks this week, nor did I because I got caught up with some other things. I did however get some answers to the interview I posted for the post I’m planning to write for my Work at Home Tips Online website, so I’ll probably publish that this week. Beyond that, […]
Hello everyone! I’m pleased to say I had a pretty good week – my eBooks actually got a few sales. “Your Work at Home Journey” and “Get Paid to Talk” each got 1 sale. Also “Your Work at Home Journey” is still ranking pretty high – it’s stayed in the top 1000 books for books about running home-based businesses for the past week.
